Non-Member ArtistI really like the swirly lines on the tree's bark. They give me a sense of an old, slow-growing tree, perhaps surviving and even thriving despite a harsh environment.
Amelia MargettsFeatured in LJ Community's Artwork Spotlight 6-28-2011!
PeggyBThe minimalism of the line work here really draws the eye. Great job!
Elizabeth BarretteBeautiful! I love the delicate ink work here, all that woodgrain texture. The tree looks a bit like a pregnant woman, with the big bump sticking out.
Jenny HeidewaldI really like all the line work you did on this one, all the different textures you were able to convey. :)
Deirdre / Wyld_DandelyonThe tree looks like it's dancing!
Lorna (Comtessa)Beautiful! Also would make a great picture to colour in!!
Non-Member ArtistI really like your art style - it has really clear, simple outlines and really nice detail work, and it looks good! I especially like the tree and the twists to it. I haven't read the story for this, but I'm very glad there is one, because this is a picture that looks like it HAS a story. :D
