Uneide | I love watching their interaction, and Birka's wonder. I am betting that Jerumal is more than a little bit enthralled by how fascinating she finds his world. :) |
Layla Lawlor | This is very cool - great descriptions of the lovely and exotic artwork, and the characters' interactions ring very true. (I have sometimes thought how many of these unspoken safety taboos are hidden in everyday objects that we use -- microwaves, for example!) |
Kir Talmage | Ah! I want to know what happens next! |
PeggyB | I really, really enjoyed reading this story. I was impressed by BirkasĀ“ social skills and how she handled the encounter with a strange culture much more civilized and sensitive as some of the Southerners would have expected (I guess). It is also the first time I understood the function of the time crystals. |
Rhiannon Rose | Birka's wonderment and confusion are captured here wonderfully! Great culture clash, and I like the crystal art. Very cool. |
Lorna (Comtessa) | Enthralling. I adore the idea of the smoke caught in time and it was described beautifully. |
