For the month of April, all character adoptions are absolutely free! Normally, it costs 40 karma points to adopt a character, but this month we are waiving that. If you've been considering adopting a character, this is the perfect time to do so.

Adopting a character is a great way to move from 'Hmm, I'm sort of half-interested in this project' to feeling really invested in it, and adopted characters are far, far more likely to be written into stories - I know I make an effort to include them more often!
