After prodding at our membership base a bit with no reply, I've decided to cancel the November Muse Fusion - a bunch of us are doing NaNoWriMo, and the month is marching along without us!

For December, I am eyeing Tuesday, December 21, Solstice. Anyone have yay or nay votes on that date?

It would be nice to have some fun before I am crushed in the christmas crush, so I am up for Decembers.

I'm making it official - a solstice Muse Fusion on the 21st!

In between the frantic writing and art-making, take time to check out the total lunar eclipse on the 21st! I can't be the only one excited about this.

I have a suggestion -- as a present to our readers, and because people are busy over the holidays, why don't we open the prompts a day early?

Hmm! That's an interesting idea - do we let people start to work on their prompts early if they're inspired, or should we screen comments until we actually begin on Tuesday?

You were talking about experimenting with a longer time period, like the 24-hour sketchfest.

And really, the worst that happens if we let people start early and work longer is that we get more stuff to publish on TW. Is there some drawback to letting creative people have a little longer to work than the 12 hours, if they want it? It's not like it's a contest, after all. And we already have people starting stuff during the Muse Fusion and finishing it days or weeks afterward. I don't think it would hurt at all to have more stuff to share when the scheduled fuse fusion starts.

I will be out most of Monday, what if we extend it through Wednesday, instead? Rather than noon to noon (like Sketch Fest), I'd like to start it Tuesday morning as usual, then run it through Wednesday evening. Sound good?

Woot! I am back in town, and thought it might be nice to open prompts right as the eclipse starts. We'll leave prompts open until Wednesday morning, though creators may continue to post after prompts are closed. Sound good?

I didn't have as much time as I thought, but thankfully it will be a very slow christmas. A lot of the prompts have caught my eye so I look forwards to doing more!
