Any requests for dates? I've liked the option of opening it up the evening before and closing it the morning after, so we'll keep doing that unless there are objections!

Capricon is the weekend of the 12th. I can't do the Muse Fusion that weekend, and would prefer to avoid the Tuesdays before and after--before because I need to pack, and after because I'm inevitably tired after a con, since I can't resist staying up late for music and/or conversation.

How about Saturday or Sunday of the weekend of the 19th, or if people prefer a Tuesday, the 22nd?

I like opening the night before and closing the morning after. That gives us a good rolling scope for a project with multiple participants.

Any of the proposed dates sound okay for me, if I can find time to drop a prompt. Feb. 1 is my fishbowl that month, followed by an Imbolc activity on the 2nd. I'm likely unavailable then.

Hmm. I was eyeing the weekend of the 18-19 for Sketch Fest - I will be out of town most the week between the 22 and 26. How would the last weekend be? Sunday the 27th? I would plan to spend some time on Sunday, and probably a few more hours (if I could) on that Monday after prompts closed that morning.

if it is a weekend, could it be started saturday and finished monday?

We could have a Torn World Weekend (TWW?) that means anyone throughout the world even on their time zones could get some decent hours in

Hmm. We'll see how Sketch Fest shakes out - that's the larger project for me at this point, and I've got a poll up to see if it will run on the weekend of the 12th or 19th... if it's on the 12th, we'll do Muse Fusion the weekend of the 19th, if not, the weekend of the 27th. And I'm okay with running it the entire weekend!

Sketch Fest participants voted to host that on the 18-19, so we're looking at the weekend of the 27th. I'm getting home veeeerrrry late on the 25th - Deirdre, would you feel comfortable opening it up that evening? You'd have to then close it, too, on Monday morning, because I can't edit existing posts unless they are my own. Otherwise, I will open it up at noon on the 26th (Saturday), and run it through (my!) Monday morning.

I can do that.

The only potential snafu is if I oversleep or if my computer won't open the page in a reasonable time on Monday morning, getting to work on time will take priority over closing the post. But if I haven't closed it by editing the post, you can close it in a comment when you get up.

Or I could just close it to new prompts late Sunday night.

What do people think?

I'm actually not sure how much time I will have during the weekend proper, Lorna, so you could join me on Monday picking up prompts after they've been closed.

Do we want to give this fusion a theme and ask only for prompts related to family?

A family themed one would be good!

I think Deirdre (wyld_dandelyon) would be the go-to for that, as there is a chance I will not be able to jump in much At All this weekend. I am hopeful there will be lots of juicy prompts for me to go nuts with on Monday, which I am setting aside for my personal Muse Fusioning.

Here or private--either way I'll make sure they get posted.
