If you have been thinking about getting involved in Torn World as a contributor, please consider joining me on Monday, April 11 for a Torn World crash course chat. I will be answering any questions you might have, fixing any account problems, helping you get started at Torn World and brainstorming about some of our upcoming plots and storylines to help find you a good place to jump into the shared world experience. There will definitely be a lot of spoilers, and a lot of world detail answers that our characters do not know! This is tentatively scheduled for noon - 2 PM Alaska time (4-6 PM ET), but if there is a better time for you, please let me know - I shall try to be accommodating! (I've already had a few 'earlier or later' requests, and may extend it an hour or so on each end.)

The chat will occur via IRC, but there is a javachat option that will allow you to participate with most Internet browsers.

Questions? Please ask! And be sure to check out the new art and fiction that is going up on the site every weekday! Remember that other contributors love getting comments, and it earns you karma, which you can use to read stories reserved to subscribers, or to adopt characters.

If there is enough interest and it seems useful, I am willing to schedule these chats regularly!

I think this is a great idea.

Assuming I can get the chat room to work (sometimes it loads, and sometimes it crashes, and I have no clue why), I plan to be there to help field questions and/or brainstorm.

I can't fix people's accounts if they're broke, so I figure I should make myself useful in case you're called to do that!

I shall be there if I can get it to work!
