Thanks for the feedback and recognition.
Just a short note here: I won´t have time to answer in detail next few days but I WILL. Maybe extra time will help me sorting thoughts and opinions.
Something else that might be a point: Is it right that I have to submit at least three pieces of art/fic of/about my adopted character till I am allowed to create a new one? Do I remember right? I could not find it anymore when searching the site.
I know this is meant as a barrier against a storm of new characters no one wants to adopt, but maybe a less strict rule would would help recruiting new memebers? Everyone is more comfortable to play a character of his own imaginination (of course the overall rules should apply to them, still! No one wants a douzen supermans riding on unicorns.

). For some people it is hard to create three pieces, because as an artist (like me) drawing a human being might be a bit daunting. Some are more comfortable with drawing landscapes or animals or plants.
I know there is always the option of collaboration but from my experience this includes payment again. I would not mind THAT but some rules would be nice here, too. Let´s say an overall regularization of: 10 credits for 500 words (as an example)?
So how about only one piece featuring the adopted character? Or three submissions in general no matter what is featured? This would show the new members are interested and motivated and to keep their motivation they get allowed to create an own character.
I really understand the fact that people would like to get paid for their work. Maybe it`s because I am not as confident about my skills as others (and therefore would not ask for money) that I have got the feeling that those who contribute act mostly as service providers. You produce and produce and produce (and it`s excellent work!) but sometimes I miss the interaction, one of the most fun parts of such communities. I do not mean discussions at the forums, but such things as commenting each others works or offering collaborations. IMO it sometimes feels as if TornWorld is a maschine which targets on becoming a business one day, only. In lack of better words: the love got lost...
(Arrrgh, I wish I could express myself more clearly here. Hope you understand what I try to say.)
