I don't have time to go through and make a list of stories that are already online that could be sponsored, however, Ellen added a cool new feature to the site--you can see how long a story is. Any already-published story of mine can be sponsored (and made public)
at this time for the very reasonable rate of 1 cent a word, rounded up to the nearest whole dollar. You can pay in Torn World credits or head over to my website,
http://www.wyld-dandelyon.com and use my Paypal button.
I also have unsponsored stories that are not yet published:
Surprises at Sea is a
Sea Monster Month poem and can be sponsored for $10
Going Somewhere, Someday is flash fiction about two girls willing to take some risks for their dreams. $10
In
A Friendship of Fashion Lalya goes to Olarali's house with a gift, creating quite a stir about Ola's new customer $13
Velvet Monsters and Ribbon Waves gives you the first actual glimpse of Neteilyu's daughter, along with the rest of her poetry class and their arrogant mainland teacher. $14
A Promise of Leather shows one of Olarali's rivals, Aliffifi, who has a disappointing lunch date, but her day gets better when she meets one of our bit characters, who tells her there's a leather worker from Affanumuur who's set up shop in Affamarg. $24 for this story, which is rated at least spicy (I also have a sequel in mind, which would be NSFW, which can be sponsored for a limited time for an additional $20).
I would also be pleased to have sponsors for the following, and for these stories I'm willing to accept partial sponsorships:
In
A Girls' Day Shopping Part 3, the afternoon does not go as expected. $24 sponsors the whole story at the above rate, or $12 for half.
In
Wild Snowy Chase Part 4, Jrilii and her friends find something unexpected, and you read some words of a poet who survived the Upheaval. $42 for the whole story, $21 for half, or $11 for 1/4.
Wild Snowy Chase Part 5, starts with Jrilii admitting, to herself at least, that she may have to leave all of the wild snow-unicorns behind because the summer is almost over. But first, she has to try one last thing. $33 for the whole story or $11 to sponsor 1/3.
Finally, I'll riff off of Ellen's words: You may commission me to write a Torn World piece! It will be public, with you listed as a patron, and will cost you $10 per 500 words. I'll offer to write stories of 1,000 to 3,000 words (other lengths can be negotiated), on any topic you desire (I prefer canon-eligible material) from childlike and charming to seriously blush-worthy adult material, featuring characters or issues you are interested in. You may send a proposed outline, or give me a vague idea and set me loose.
Alternatively, you can create a Torn World character or pick an obscure bit character and tell me what kind of adventure you want him, her, or zir to have. (Remember, sponsoring a story, poem, or artwork about your adopted character counts toward supporting that character, just as if you'd written the story.)
I'm also willing to write poetry (though I suppose that means I have to figure out rates to put here). I guess I'll have to plan to update this soon; in the meantime, if you want a poem, DM me.
If you want to commission a piece, make sure to use the "leave a note" function to tell me what you're paying for, whether it's in credits or tossed in the hat on my webpage. More detailed information can be sent in a DM, but I need enough to know who's commissioning what. Choose your word length by adding increments of 500 words to your order. If I go over, it's at no extra charge.
