So, I'm fussing with a feature that I have mostly already set up, which will allow you to filter stories according to certain categories - but I'd like to think about what those categories would be so we can edit all the existing work all at once.

North and South are the most obvious choices, of course!
Sea Monster Month
Included in Family Ties and Torn Skies

What else would you like to see?

I would prefer to keep the categories fairly broad, and not have more than about a dozen of them. Thoughts?

What about form and agemates?

What about guild or occupation or something like that?

Hmm...looking forward, I don't think a half-dozen filters will work forever. We might manage with just a half-dozen categories of filter, however.

Culture: Snow-unicorn riders, Empire, and Purists for now, but we are quickly developing enough Duurludirj to justify making that a category.

Theme: gender, mythology, romance, action-adventure, science, sundered times, ancient times

Reader Age: Adult and Kid-friendly

Theme: Sea Monster Month -- there will be others, I'm sure. Ecological disaster could be a fun theme, for instance.

Anthology: Family Ties & Torn Skies -- again, we are planning more, sooner or later.

Thinking about Sea Monster Month as a theme--I suspect there will be more sea monster stories. Do we want a Sea Monster Theme (with some kind of highlight for stuff published this month) instead of just sorting by the month?
