Books: Collection: Oloi the Romantic - Culture
Written By: Deirdre / Wyld_Dandelyon (Writer)
Oloi writes humorous romantic books suitable for all ages... but they are actually Empire propaganda.

Oloi writes humorous romantic books suitable for all ages. Her hero is Rreilanu, a Scientist whose mission in life is to teach underprivileged children better living through science and who acts as a matchmaker bringing together blended families. (Oloi, though billed as a Romantic, is actually an Empire propagandist. Each story shows how science and strong families make life better.)

Title: The Ludicrous Mosaic
Author: Oloi the Romantic
Date: 1518.01.13
Edition: This is a sturdy leatherbound hardcover and each chapter starts with a color illustration. 224 pages.
Summary: Rreilanu, the hero of Under the Lantern Tree, arrives in Affafilalo only to have a series of mishaps. The local children—and a gorgeous man who repairs ancient mosaics—laugh at her. It takes most of the book to realize that Filaloi learn best from people who inspire laughter. In the meantime, she finds a poor woman who can’t afford the licensing fees her children need. She introduces the family to the respected mosaic artist, who repairs the historic comic mosaic she inherited from her grandmother. He sells it for her and she is able to license her family properly. The two fall in love, and Rreilanu happily buys passage on an ocean liner (science is her first love, after all), seeking new children to rescue.
