This story or poem is for logged in supporters only! Here is a short excerpt to whet your appetite:

The sky was a strange shade of blue,
A swift shade of time rushing through.
The sea was as silver as glass,
Waiting for time's weather to pass
And break the strangely still impasse.

Author's Notes

This poem came out of the April 13, 2010 Muse Fusion. It was inspired by a prompt from LJ user Tonithegreat. The Duurludirj are island dwellers who face violent weather from the sea. (This is often caused by temporal shifts, although the people in Torn World don't know that yet.) They've learned to cope with these challenges.
