Putting on a show

Author's Notes

This poem came out of the September 2011 Muse Fusion. It was inspired by a prompt from Deirdre M. Murphy (wyld_dandelyon).

The Entertainment Guild houses all manner of performing arts. On a nice day, you may see some of them performing outside in nearby streets or gardens. The novices need a chance to practice in front of an audience, before they're ready to charge for a show, and the teachers often demonstrate complex moves.
