All trips must come to an end, and Esarrali coming to her last notebook signals the end of her research at The Waterfalls. Rraneffa decides to cook some "araterl" lizards for dinner, but things don't go quite as planned.

Esarrali turned another page, absently picking up a tiny green and yellow frog that landed on it, and placing the critter into a flower. She brushed the pollen off of her fingers before picking up her pen again.

Rraneffa was resting, watching the darker woman fondly. Her frizzy dark hair fell to her shoulders in tight curls, and her brown skin contrasted nicely with the pale paper under her hands and the bright flowers around them. She noted that Esarrali

The sponsor of So Many, Many Frogs expressed interest in seeing more of these characters, so when he gave us the "Lizard, Lizard" prompt during the October 2011 Muse Fusion, it seemed natural to write about Rraneffa and Esarrali.
