Band of Ivory   1516.10.23
Creators: Lorna (Comtessa) (Writer)
Lenarai gets something more than she bargained for when making a deal with Tekoth!
Posted: 02/15/10      [2 Comments] ~ 149 words.

It often took Lenarai a moment or two to brush the bone curls and chips of wood from his sleeping furs, but she never made a complaint about it. The fact she was found more often in his bunk than anywhere else currently was not discussed, as usually their heads could be found together as they poured over some piece of embroidery or old carving one or the other had dug up from somewhere some how.

They always seemed to come across such things, making good use of the summer gatherings to trade and swap new fascinating items to show to each other, almost to try and out do each other with who could bring back the most surprising thing of all. This time, however, Tekoth had won with his tiny scrap of fur that had been embroidered so neatly it made Lenarai a little jealous to see it.

Author's Notes

This is the story that formed in my head when I was thinking up of how I could related Tekoth and Lenarai. Originally the ring was just a random ring on Lenarai's description, but eventually the two linked together to create a friendship I have got between them.
