Warm Summer Blues   poem
Creators: Deirdre / Wyld_Dandelyon (Writer)
A poem about blues.
Posted: 10/22/13      [1 Comment] ~ 110 words.

There is blue in the winter
The shadows on the snows
The far distant mountains
And the paths the wind blows

And blue in the autumn
In crystal-cold skies
In late ripened ice-fruit
And snow-unicorns' eyes

There's blue in the springtime
In flowers on the hills
In the first early berries
And butterfly frills

But the blues of the summer
Are what I love best
The waves on the ocean
My soft knitted vest

Dancing at the gathers
And silver-blue fish
And nights in my blue tent
Trading beads and a wish

So when the blues chill me
In winter's long nights
I remember the summer's
Many warm blue delights

Author's Notes
