From White to Blue   Poem
Creators: Elizabeth Barrette (Writer)
Triangle flowers bloom in spring.
Posted: 07/11/14      [1 Comment] ~ 41 words.

In early spring,
the snow begins to melt,
and beneath it the shoots
of triangle flower poke up
toward the warming sun.

Within a tenday
the slopes can change
from white to blue
as the drifts retreat
and the blossoms open.

Author's Notes

This poem was inspired by the "Melting snow" square in the Torn World Muse Fusion Card 4/16/14 and the "Blooming / blossoming" square in the Spring and Autumn Bingo public card 3/13/14. It has been sponsored by Anthony & Shirley Barrette.
