My Lover
Creators: Lorna (Comtessa) (Writer)
A light-hearted ditty, sung by prostitutes.
Posted: 02/17/10      [2 Comments] ~ 333 words.

Will you sing with me, my lover?
Will you grace me with your voice.
Will you dance with me, my lover?
Will you finally make that choice.
Will you pay for me, my lover?
Will you stay with me, my lover?
Will you come back for me, my lover?
So we can both rejoice.

I may cost a pretty fortune, but I am true.
When I say I can please you, no other will do.
See how I blossom, upon your steady arm,
Like a flower glowing, adoring your witty charm.

Will you sing with me, my lover?
Will you grace me with your voice.
Will you dance with me, my lover?
Will you finally make that choice.
Will you pay for me, my lover?
Will you stay with me, my lover?
Will you come back for me, my lover?
So we can both rejoice.

The clothes I am wearing, nothing but a mask,
I am yours to undress, will you handle the task?
Find the treasures beneath, soft skin and warm wine,
It is now yours to enjoy, you paid for the time.

Will you sing with me, my lover?
Will you grace me with your voice.
Will you dance with me, my lover?
Will you finally make that choice.
Will you pay for me, my lover?
Will you stay with me, my lover?
Will you come back for me, my lover?
So we can both rejoice.

In the morning I leave you, unless you pay more,
How does it please you, my clothes on your floor?
Your friends are all jealous, of your lucky prize,
And yet you didn't have to win me, not with lucky dice.

Will you sing with me, my lover?
Will you grace me with your voice.
Will you dance with me, my lover?
Will you finally make that choice.
Will you pay for me, my lover?
Will you stay with me, my lover?
Will you come back for me, my lover?
So we can both rejoice.

Author's Notes

I have no idea where this came from. I blame good times and late nights.
