Holly H.This wound up being my first introduction to Iremima, Ussil, and the ship, and it worked really well! It gave me a great sense of their personalities, as well as the overall community of the ship. I may not crochet myself, but I know people who do, and I can very much appreciate why it would catch on like that. I was already there, ready to defend the pastime to Iremima, as something actually productive! ;-) But I also liked how this touched on other elements, like problems with the Cartage Guild, or the problems a ship captain might face with cargo (fewer horses! more dogs!).
Non-Member ArtistEee! A fiber art story! I'm a knitter myself--never could get the hang of crochet--but there's enough in common that I adore this story :D
Jennifer BroschinskyBeing a crocheter myself, I ADORE this story!
