Holly H. | Oh my! Oh no! Fascinating from start to finish. Oranaan’s friends were depicted very vividly, and it was interesting to get a glimpse of scientists who clearly have had some success, but who weren’t *brilliant* in the way that Oranaan is, or even solid and reliable the way others I’ve seen are. But it’s just as interesting to see people who allow theories and politics and paranoia to lead their thinking astray. *Of course* someone would decide that it was all a conspiracy, man-made, and try to prove it! But even if I hadn’t already known that these events are due to the Others, and the Others are… something strange and otherworldly, I wouldn’t have believed that this problem was man-made at all. Even suspecting that Rilaru’s death was coming, it was still a shock when it did -- not to mention how close Oranaan came to it himself! I’m not very impressed with Mlamani, and wonder where he will go from here, and how this will affect him. |
Lorna (Comtessa) | This has been a wonderful read. It shows real expression. |
Ellen Million | I really like this look at Oranaan, and his sober acceptance of what happens - he may be growing up, after all! |
