Deirdre / Wyld_DandelyonIn our culture, mothers have saved baby teeth as mementos for years, with the help of the tooth fairy, of course. I really like this depiction of a custom blending the natural urge to keep a loved child's tooth as a memento and the northern custom of remembering just about everything with beads.
